The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Designer with 8–10 years of experience in Education (schools, campuses, institutions) or Hospitality (hotels, villas, resorts) projects.
This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong balance of creative design vision, technical expertise, and project execution capability. The successful candidate will lead projects from concept design through to site execution, ensuring exceptional quality and smooth delivery at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of projects from concept to completion
- Lead design development, space planning, and technical detailing
- Manage statutory drawings and approvals within the Mumbai region
- Coordinate with local authorities, consultants, and approval agencies
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and design workshops
- Oversee coordination with MEP, structural, and specialist consultants
- Drive project timelines, deliverables, and quality benchmarks
- Mentor and lead internal design teams
- Support site teams during execution and ensure design intent is maintained
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and statutory requirements
Candidate Profile
- 8–10 years experience in architecture / interior design consultancy
- Strong portfolio in Education or Hospitality projects
- Proven experience handling projects from concept to execution
- Strong expertise in statutory approvals and drawings in Mumbai
- Excellent client-facing and consultant coordination skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
- Strong technical detailing and execution knowledge
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
