Job Description: Head of Marketing
Location: Delhi, India (On-site)
Company: Ambrosia Patisserie
About Ambrosia
Ambrosia is a 30-year-old luxury patisserie in Delhi, known for its signature ice-cream cakes and premium desserts. Founded by Ritu Gupta and now led by second-generation entrepreneur-chef Radhika Gupta, Ambrosia has built a strong reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and taste. As the brand enters its next phase of growth, marketing is expected to play a direct role in driving demand, repeat purchases, and new customer acquisition.
About the Role
The Head of Marketing will own Ambrosia's end-to-end marketing function with a clear mandate to use marketing as a sales and demand engine, building brand presence while increasing customer acquisition, repeat rates, and purchase frequency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a clear marketing strategy that strengthens Ambrosia's premium positioning and builds a loyal community of repeat customers.
- Own Ambrosia's presence across digital and offline channels, including social media platforms, collaborations, events, and brand activations.
- Conceptualize and create high-quality, trend-led content (reels, videos, carousels, static posts) that drives both engagement and conversions.
- Lead basic photography, shooting, and product styling to ensure all visual content aligns with Ambrosia's brand identity and luxury standards.
- Build and manage long-term influencer relationships and brand collaborations that increase awareness, credibility, and demand beyond one-off campaigns.
- Plan, execute, and optimise performance marketing campaigns across Meta, Google, and relevant platforms with a strong focus on ROI and CAC control.
- Own Ambrosia's CRM and lifecycle marketing across email and WhatsApp to improve conversion, repeat purchases, and customer lifetime value.
- Act as a hands-on, self-driven leader who takes ownership of outcomes and collaborates effectively with internal and external teams.
Key Qualifications
- 58+ years of experience in marketing roles at D2C consumer brands, preferably in premium food, beverage, beauty, or lifestyle categories.
- Proven ability to use marketing to drive sales, not just brand awareness, in a D2C or consumer business.
- Strong hands-on experience with content creation, video editing, and use of visual, AI, and post-production tools.
- Experience managing performance marketing budgets and optimising campaigns based on data and ROI.
- Demonstrated experience in influencer marketing, partnerships, and collaboration-led growth.
- Working knowledge of CRM, customer segmentation, and conversion-focused communication across email and WhatsApp.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing decisions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led environment with high ownership and accountability.
