Role Overview
Battery Smart is looking for a Growth Manager to drive end-to-end growth for the 3W BaaS business across multiple cities/markets.
This is a high-impact leadership role focused on owning growth strategy, scaling driver acquisition, improving retention, and driving revenue growth. The role combines strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and strong on-ground execution leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Driver Onboarding & Activation
• Own the end-to-end driver funnel within the cluster (acquisition → onboarding → activation → retention)
• Execute central playbooks and adapt them to local market realities
• Drive adoption of subscription-based battery solutions
• Ensure high-quality onboarding aligned with long-term driver retention
2. Field Execution & Cluster Growth
• Lead on-ground execution through Growth Managers / Field Teams
• Identify and scale high-potential micro-markets within the cluster
• Drive driver density around swap stations
• Maintain strong execution discipline and daily/weekly cadences
3. Demand Operations & Performance Management
• Track and own key metrics for the cluster, including:
o Driver activations o Subscription conversion o Retention / churn
o Swaps per driver o Revenue per battery deployed
• Ensure data-driven decision-making and consistent performance tracking
• Identify gaps and drive corrective actions on ground
4. Customer Experience & Retention
• Understand local driver behavior and pain points
• Improve engagement, renewals, and payment discipline
• Work closely with central teams to resolve on-ground experience gaps
• Drive initiatives to improve lifetime value and reduce drop-offs
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with:
o Warehouse Operations
o Product & Tech
o Supply & Network Teams
• Ensure demand growth is aligned with supply readiness
• Act as the voice of the cluster for feedback and improvements
What You Will Need
• 8-12 years of experience
• Field Sales / Distribution
• Demand Operations
• Growth roles (preferably in mobility / consumer businesses)
• Strong execution mindset with hands-on field experience
• Ability to manage multi-layer field teams
• High ownership and ability to drive results in fast-paced environments
• Comfort with data, metrics, and performance tracking
