About the Role:
Sotbella is looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented E-commerce / Operations Lead to drive and scale end-to-end e-commerce operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities who can lead platform performance, streamline operations, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while managing cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize end-to-end operations across e-commerce platforms (website & marketplaces)
- Own the complete order lifecycle including order processing, inventory planning, and fulfillment efficiency
- Drive catalog management strategy including product listings, pricing, and content optimization
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and customer support teams to ensure seamless operations
- Develop inventory forecasting models and ensure optimal stock availability and replenishment planning
- Oversee returns, exchanges, and customer escalations with a focus on improving customer satisfaction
- Define, track, and improve key business KPIs such as revenue growth, conversion rates, fulfillment SLAs, and return ratios
- Partner with marketing teams to plan and execute campaigns, sales strategies, and platform promotions
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements and automation
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of executives to drive performance and accountability
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of experience in E-commerce / Operations, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience with platforms like Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.
- Deep understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain operations
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive execution in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership mindset with a focus on outcomes and scalability
