Job Description

Job Title: Email Marketing Specialist

Location: Mumbai

Department: Marketing

Shift Timings: 12:00 PM 9:00 PM

Notice Period: Up to 30 days

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Email Marketing Executive to manage end-to-end email marketing campaigns. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, analyzing, and optimizing email communication that drives engagement, leads, and conversions across target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns including planning, audience segmentation, content creation & A/B testing.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of email campaigns using email automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, SendGrid, Zoho Campaigns).
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics such as open rate, CTR, bounce rate, conversion rate & unsubscribe trends.
  • Create persuasive and engaging copy tailored to multiple audience segments.
  • Conduct regular database hygiene: list segmentation, lead nurturing, and removal of inactive/bounced contacts.
  • Collaborate with design, content, and sales teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement personalization and automation workflows to increase email engagement.
  • Drive conversion-focused landing pages aligned with campaign goals.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices and regulations (GDPR/Spam Act/CAN-SPAM).
  • Analyze campaign insights to provide weekly/monthly performance reports and optimization suggestions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Min 6 years of proven experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of email automation platforms (Mailchimp/HubSpot/etc.).
  • Excellent command over English content writing, proofreading & campaign messaging.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & email templates.
  • Understanding of CRM platforms and lead management.
  • Analytical mindset with familiarity in using reporting tools like Google Analytics, Power BI, etc.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation, drip campaigns & lead scoring.

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Certifications in Email Marketing or Digital Marketing (Google, HubSpot, Meta etc.) are added advantages.
