Job Description

Employment Note:

The selected candidate for this position will be on the payroll of a third-party agency contracted by Porsche India. While the day-to-day responsibilities, work environment & benefits are aligned with Porsche India standards, the official employment contract will be administered by the payroll partner.

Role Summary:

The primary goal of this role is to oversee the implementation of Porsche's Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines across the dealership network, ensuring alignment with the brand's global standards. Additionally, this position will lead the development of new retail and aftersales formats that cater to the varied needs of the Indian market. By leveraging market insights and understanding customer preferences, this role will drive initiatives that enhance customer experiences, strengthen brand presence, and contribute to long-term business success across India.

Authority:

  • Lead the execution of Porsche's CI guidelines across the dealership network, ensuring consistent brand representation and operational excellence.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to design and introduce innovative retail and aftersales concepts that address the diverse needs of the Indian market.
  • Drive initiatives that support Porsche's growth objectives, ensuring formats are adaptable and scalable.
  • Use market data and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation, improving customer engagement and reinforcing the Porsche brand.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Porsche's global CI team and local dealerships, ensuring alignment and promoting the adoption of best practices.

Key Responsibilities &Tasks:

Facility Planning & Oversight:

  • Lead the evaluation of dealer/investor-proposed sites for Porsche facilities, ensuring alignment with brand standards and long-term business goals.
  • Foster collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders to secure site approvals, balancing both business and operational priorities.
  • Guide facility design by partnering with Porsche Middle East (PME) and external architects, ensuring that designs meet both global requirements and local market needs.
  • Oversee dealership facility construction, ensuring timely completion and that all projects adhere to Porsche's quality and brand identity standards.

Brand Experience & Visual Merchandising:

  • Champion the implementation of visual merchandising elements across all dealer facilities, including artwork, CI cutlery, reading materials, and brand literature.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Porsche's audio-visual guidelines to enhance customer engagement across all dealership locations.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of multi-sensory brand experiences in dealerships, ensuring these elements reflect Porsche's premium identity.
  • Ensure compliance with Porsche Lifestyle (PLS) display norms, optimizing stocking levels and product presentation to drive customer satisfaction

Project Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive project management framework using tools like MS Project, ensuring all projects stay on track and aligned with key business objectives.
  • Identify critical project milestones, closely monitor progress, and implement proactive measures to ensure timely achievement of all deliverables.
  • Oversee the management of all invoices related to the Network Management Department (NMD), including those from PME, PAG, and third-party vendors.
  • Analyze dealer investments in facilities, identifying areas for upgrades and recommending improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress for regular updates to dealers and internal stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

Innovation & Market Development:

  • Lead localization efforts for facility elements such as tiles, laminates, and other materials to meet regional market demands without compromising Porsche's brand standards.
  • Drive the development of innovative retail and aftersales concepts tailored to India's diverse markets, creating differentiated experiences for customers.
  • Spearhead the rollout of Porsche's global initiatives, such as Sustainability@Retail, leveraging internal and external resources to ensure successful implementation in the Indian market.
  • Identify and partner with top vendors and service providers, ensuring the successful execution of global projects while adapting them to local market conditions.
