Business Development Manager

This is a full-time on-site role in Chennai for a Business Development Manager. The incumbent will drive growth by identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining long-term client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic business plans, researching market trends, delivering compelling sales presentations, and negotiating contracts with potential clients. Managing a pipeline of prospective customers to achieve and exceed sales targets will be key to the role.

• Business Development and Sales skills, including identifying and pursuing new opportunities
• Strong Communication and Negotiation skills to build and maintain client relationships
• Market Research and Strategic Planning experience for informed decision-making
• Time Management and Organizational skills to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
• Prior experience in the office furniture manufacturing industry or related sectors is advantageous
