Job Description

Smart Skill Academy is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive student admissions, build strategic partnerships, and expand the academy's training programs across various domains such as Digital Marketing, AI, Robotics, and Skill Development courses. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing sales teams, and achieving monthly revenue targets through effective marketing and outreach strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve admissions and revenue targets for the academy.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and institutional tie-ups with colleges, corporates, and training partners.
  • Lead, train, and manage the sales and counselling team to improve conversion rates and performance.
  • Generate leads through online marketing campaigns, seminars, workshops, and referral programs.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective students, parents, corporate clients, and educational institutions.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, lead generation activities, and conversion metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional campaigns and events.
  • Conduct presentations and seminars about academy courses in colleges and organizations.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports for management.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience from enquiry to admission.

Required Skills

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience in education, training institute, or EdTech sales is preferred
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong knowledge of lead generation and conversion strategies
  • Good analytical and reporting skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage
