About the Role

We are hiring a Business Development Manager – Vendor Acquisition to drive vendor partnerships and business growth. This role involves end-to-end ownership of vendor sourcing, onboarding, and relationship management, along with building and maintaining a strong acquisition pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and connect with potential vendors through LinkedIn, marketplaces, and trade directories
  • Present and pitch value propositions to key decision-makers
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from initial outreach to vendor onboarding
  • Conduct discovery calls to evaluate vendor readiness and commercial viability
  • Collaborate with internal teams including pricing, logistics, and product for smooth onboarding
  • Drive consistent outbound activities including calls, emails, and follow-ups
  • Achieve weekly and monthly vendor acquisition targets
  • Maintain accurate vendor documentation and ensure compliance
  • Track and report performance using Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM tools

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Vendor Management, or Inside Sales
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of pricing, margins, and ROI
  • Target-oriented with a solution-driven approach
  • Comfortable working in night shift / US shift
  • Ability to handle objections and close deals independently
  • Exposure to e-commerce, B2B platforms, or vendor onboarding processes
  • Experience in fast-paced industries such as BPO, EdTech, FinTech, or SaaS
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, or Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
