*Role Overview*
We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with strong experience in Domestic IT Staffing sales within the Indian market. The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to acquire new clients, generate hiring mandates, and build long-term staffing partnerships with startups, SMBs, GCCs, and enterprise clients.
This role requires someone who can own the complete sales cyclefrom lead generation to deal closurewhile working closely with recruitment delivery teams to ensure successful placements and long-term client relationships.
*Key Responsibilities*
Business Development & Client Acquisition
Identify, generate, and close new business opportunities in Domestic IT Staffing / Staff Augmentation.
Acquire new clients across startups, SMBs, enterprises, GCCs, and MNCs in India.
Build and maintain strong relationships with HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Leaders, Hiring Managers, and Procurement Teams.
Generate consistent IT staffing mandates across Contract, Contract-to-Hire (C2H), and Permanent hiring models.
*Sales & Pipeline Management*
Own the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, pitching, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
Conduct discovery meetings with clients to understand hiring needs and propose suitable staffing solutions.
Prepare commercial proposals, rate cards, MSAs, and SOWs.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, LinkedIn networking, referrals, and industry events.
Maintain CRM hygiene and track all sales activities.
*Client Relationship & Account Management*
Build long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and account growth.
Act as a trusted staffing partner for client hiring needs.
Provide market insights and hiring trends to clients.
*Collaboration with Recruitment Team*
Work closely with recruitment delivery teams to ensure quality submissions and successful placements.
Align hiring priorities and timelines with internal teams.
*Revenue & Target Management*
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Provide sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates to leadership.
*Required Skills & Experience*
310 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within IT Staffing / Recruitment industry.
Strong experience in Domestic IT Staffing sales (India market only).
Proven track record in new client acquisition and revenue generation.
Hands-on experience with Contract, Contract-to-Hire (C2H), and Permanent hiring models.
Strong network with HR Leaders, Talent Acquisition Heads, and Hiring Managers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience working with ATS / CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Strong understanding of Indian hiring market and staffing practices.
Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
*Preferred Experience*
Experience working with GCCs, MNCs, or large enterprise clients.
Experience selling RPO, staffing, or talent augmentation solutions.
Exposure to consultative sales and solution-based selling.
