Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, and conduct client meetings, presentations, and demos for digital marketing, branding, and web development services. The role involves preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals in collaboration with internal delivery, design, and technical teams. The person will conduct market and competitor research, contribute to pricing and go-to-market strategies, and provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports. Daily responsibilities also include nurturing long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in digital marketing, IT services, or creative agencies.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and deal closure.
  • Ability to understand and position services such as website development, branding, social media marketing, SEO, and paid advertising to diverse clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers at multiple levels.
  • Comfort working with targets, KPIs, and sales metrics, and using CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Strong relationship-building, client service orientation, and long-term account nurturing abilities.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills, including basic understanding of market research and competitive analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is an advantage).
  • Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time and priorities independently.
  • Experience in the Hyderabad or broader Indian market and familiarity with digital marketing trends will be considered beneficial.
