Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional with a strong background in advanced composite products and high-performance industrial applications. The role focuses on identifying, developing, and managing new and existing business opportunities across domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry exposure, strong customer relationship skills, and a proven ability to drive long-term revenue growth in technically demanding sectors.
Industry Exposure (One or More Required)
CNG Composite Cylinders & Industrial Applications.
Hydrogen Composite Cylinders / High-Pressure Systems.
Medical Oxygen Cylinders & Healthcare Equipment.
Naval & Defense Applications.
Aerospace Components (e.g., rocket motor casings, pressure vessels).
Automotive Composite Components (e.g., drive shafts, structural parts).
Key Responsibilities: -
Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities across targeted industries.
Build and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company growth objectives.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer need assessments.
Lead proposal development, technical-commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure feasibility and successful project execution.
Customer & Account Management
Manage and grow key domestic and international customer accounts.
Act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Develop long-term customer relationships based on trust, technical understanding, and consistent delivery.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of commercial or technical issues.
Sales & Revenue Growth
Achieve assigned revenue and business development targets.
Drive sustainable growth through repeat business and long-term agreements.
Support pricing strategy development based on market trends and cost structures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, engineering, production, quality, supply chain) to align customer requirements with internal capabilities.
Provide market and customer feedback to support product development and innovation. Required skills:
Strong understanding of composite materials, high-pressure systems, or advanced industrial products.
Proven track record in B2B business development and key account management.
Ability to engage in technical discussions with customers and internal teams.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
Experience working with international customers and global markets.
Willingness to travel as required.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Preferred Attributes:
Experience working with defense, aerospace, or regulated industries.
Strong understanding of quality, certification, and compliance requirements.
