Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Executive to join our IT sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for IT services such as software development, mobile applications, web development, AI solutions, and digital services.
The role requires strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and an understanding of the IT services sales lifecycle.
- Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through WhatsApp, LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, bidding platforms, field visit, tenders and networking.
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities for IT services and solutions.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams for solution discussions.
- Schedule discovery calls, presentations, and client meetings.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Maintain strong client relationships for repeat business and referrals.
- Update and manage leads. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducational Qualification- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
- MBA (Marketing/International Business) is a plus.
Skills- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Basic understanding of IT services such as web, mobile apps, software, or digital solutions. Lead generation and client handling skills.
- Negotiation and objection-handling ability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
- Preferred Experience (Good to Have)
- Experience selling IT services or software solutions.
- Experience with platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, Freelancer, etc..
- Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
- Experience in international client handling.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of leads generated, Qualified client meetings scheduled
- Proposals submitted, Conversion ratio, Revenue generated, Client retention rate
