Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and communication-focused Business Development Executive Intern who is eager to build a career in B2B SaaS sales. The candidate will support lead generation, client communication, market research, and sales activities while learning how SaaS products are positioned and sold to international clients.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential business opportunities in the Canadian market.
Generate leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, online research, and other digital channels.
Connect with potential clients and understand their business communication requirements.
Engage with prospects to introduce Transket's WhatsApp Business API platform and its benefits.
Assist in scheduling product demos and client meetings.
Understand customer pain points and coordinate with internal teams to provide suitable solutions.
Support the sales team in preparing presentations, proposals, and follow-up communications.
Maintain and update lead information, customer interactions, and sales activities in CRM tools.
Follow up with prospects through emails, calls, and online meetings.
Work towards achieving assigned lead generation and business development goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interest in SaaS products, technology solutions, and B2B sales.
Good confidence in speaking with clients and understanding their requirements.
Basic knowledge of LinkedIn outreach, email communication, and online research.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
Internship experience in sales, business development, customer success, or SaaS companies.
Exposure to international clients or markets.
Familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales platforms.
Basic understanding of WhatsApp Business API, automation tools, or customer engagement platforms.
