Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive (Field Marketing) role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The role involves visiting potential and existing clients to promote Travelwindo's services, understand their travel requirements, and present suitable holiday, business travel, and ticketing solutions. The Business Development Executive will generate and qualify leads, follow up on inquiries, schedule meetings, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Responsibilities include preparing proposals, negotiating pricing within guidelines, closing deals, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. The role also requires building and managing long-term client relationships, gathering market and competitor insights from the field, coordinating with internal operations and ticketing teams for smooth service delivery, and representing the company at local events or promotional activities.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to identify, approach, and convert prospective clients.
- Strong Account Management and client relationship skills to retain customers and drive repeat business.
- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills, including confident in-person presentations and clear follow-ups.
- Solid understanding of Business and sales fundamentals, including pipeline management, negotiation, and target-oriented work.
- Prior experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or related service industries is an advantage.
- Comfort with field marketing, regular client visits, and on-ground promotional activities in and around Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Basic computer proficiency (CRM tools, email, spreadsheets) and willingness to learn internal booking systems.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or Travel & Tourism is preferred.
