Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Specialist located in Gurugram. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for generating new leads, conducting market research, and developing strategies to attract and retain clients. Daily tasks will include identifying potential business opportunities, establishing and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with the marketing team to enhance our outreach efforts. The role also involves analyzing market trends and feedback, with a focus on expanding our market presence and achieving business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new leads through various channels (LinkedIn, email, calls, networking, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Pitch digital marketing and social media services to potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients
  • Assist in developing proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies
  • Track and report business development metrics and pipeline progress
  • Collaborate with the marketing and strategy teams to close deals
  • Represent Sorting HAT at events and online industry communities

Requirements:

  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing & social media trends
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and startup-ready
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Bonus if you've worked in an agency, startup, or digital environment
