Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) for our Mumbai office. This is a full-time, onsite role ideal for professionals with 03 years of experience who are excited to build a career in enterprise technology sales, especially in the fast-growing domain of cybersecurity.
If you have prior BDE experience or some exposure to cybersecurity solutions, that's a significant plus. However, a strong drive to learn, hustle, and contribute to a winning team is what we value most.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential clients through online tools, databases, events, and networking.
- Initiate contact with prospects via email, LinkedIn, and cold calls to schedule meetings and demos.
Client Engagement
- Pitch Seceon's cybersecurity solutions to potential customers.
- Understand client needs and map them to our products value propositions.
- Nurture prospects through the early sales cycle until qualified for closure by senior sales team.
Sales Coordination
- Work closely with inside sales, channel partners, and technical pre-sales teams to coordinate meetings and follow-ups.
- Maintain CRM entries, update lead stages, and ensure pipeline accuracy.
Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on Seceon's product offerings, competitive landscape, and the cybersecurity market.
- Attend internal training sessions to understand product features and typical customer use-cases.
Event & Partnership Participation
- Assist in representing Seceon at industry events, conferences, webinars, and partner meetings as needed.
- Build rapport with partners, resellers, and solution providers to drive indirect sales growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Marketing, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or business development (SaaS, IT, or tech sales preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce or similar), MS Office, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- High energy, self-motivated, target-driven mindset with an eagerness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working as a BDE in cybersecurity, IT solutions, or enterprise software companies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts (basic networking, SIEM, endpoint protection, etc.).
- Exposure to channel sales or working with resellers/distributors.
