Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Thiruvananthapuram. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, and conduct lead generation activities through calls, meetings, events, and digital channels. The role includes presenting PenielTech's accounting and IT solutions to potential clients, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing proposals and quotations. The individual will manage client accounts, nurture long-term relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction. Regular reporting on sales activities, market trends, and competitor insights, as well as contributing to sales strategies and revenue targets, will be part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Candidates should possess strong Business and Account Management skills to manage client relationships and drive long-term growth.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience selling software solutions (ERP, CRM, accounting systems or IT services) and familiarity with the Middle East market are advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales or business development, with the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong organizational skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, basic MS Office applications, and preparing professional sales documentation.
