Key Responsibilities-
New Business Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across various sectors through a blended approach of online and offline sales strategies.
- Client Engagement: Conduct in-person meetings and virtual presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value of our marketing services.
- Online & Offline Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies for both digital (e.g., social media campaigns, email marketing) and traditional (e.g., print ads, events, direct mail) marketing services.
- Lead Generation: Actively generate new leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and utilizing online platforms.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients and key industry contacts.
- Travel: Be prepared to travel regularly to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and explore new markets.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in both online and offline marketing.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized sales pipeline and provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Any Graduate (BBA or MBA in Agribusiness/Marketing is a significant advantage).
- Experience: 1–3 years in Sales, Business Development, or Relationship Management.
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English and Hindi. Good command of English is required for corporate reporting.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile apps, CRM tools, and basic Microsoft Excel for reporting.
Candidate Profile
- Empathy: Ability to communicate effectively with the farming community and understand their needs.
- Negotiation: Strong closing skills to convert leads into long-term paid partners.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to expand market presence and capture new opportunities.
- Solid understanding of Business growth, sales processes, and commercial acumen within the agriculture or related industry.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present products clearly and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Account Management capabilities to nurture existing relationships, ensure repeat business, and achieve sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in agrochemicals, fertilizers, seeds, or similar agri-inputs is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel within the Pune Division, work independently in the field, and maintain organized records of activities.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office tools and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking systems is an advantage.
