Job Description

We are looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Executive to expand our footprint in the software product market. You will identify new business opportunities, cultivate high-value client relationships, and play a pivotal role in accelerating our revenue growth across target verticals.

Key responsibilities

What you will do

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities across target industries through cold outreach, networking, and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Own the full sales cycle — from initial discovery and product demonstration to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting to leadership.
  • Develop strategic account plans for key prospects and existing accounts to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align go-to-market strategies and improve win rates.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to generate brand visibility and leads.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts in line with pricing guidelines, ensuring mutual business value.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform product positioning and sales strategy.

Requirements

Must have

  • 1+ years of B2B software / SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Strong understanding of software sales processes — discovery, demo, POC, proposal, and close.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Zoho, or HubSpot.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven mindset with strong time management and organizational skills.

Good to have

  • Experience selling to enterprise or mid-market accounts across IT, BFSI, healthcare, or manufacturing verticals.
  • MBA or equivalent business degree.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar prospecting tools.
  • Understanding of software implementation cycles and post-sale customer journeys.
