Role Description

The Business Development Executive role at HubHawks is a full-time position based in Mumbai. In this role, the individual will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the book marketing and publishing space, research prospective clients, and build a strong pipeline through lead generation activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, presenting HubHawks services to potential partners, and managing relationships with existing accounts to encourage repeat business and upselling. The Business Development Executive will collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align proposals with client needs, prepare sales reports, and contribute to strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion. Regular follow-up, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and representing the company at relevant industry events or online forums will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, with the ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Candidates should possess solid Business and Account Management skills to nurture client relationships and support long-term partnerships.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident presentation abilities.
  • Candidates should ideally have experience or strong interest in publishing, book marketing, or related creative industries, along with basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
  • Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
