Position: Business Development Executive (Agri & Dairy Sector)

Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will spearhead partnerships, field engagements, and sales expansion for Chimertech's smart dairy and animal health solutions across Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Dairy Cooperatives, Goshalas, and allied livestock institutions. The role demands a blend of field acumen, relationship-building skills, and domain understanding of dairy management, veterinary practices, and farmer networks.
The ideal candidate is not a typical sales rep but a sector enabler someone capable of translating technology into impact, demonstrating tangible benefits to rural stakeholders, and building sustainable revenue and partnership pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership & Ecosystem Development
Identify, engage, and onboard FPOs, Dairy Unions, Cooperatives, Goshalas, and NGOs working in livestock management.
Develop MoUs, partnership proposals, and joint deployment models for Chimertech products (QuadMastest, NIRAMM, PashuPartner, iHerd, feed supplements, etc.).
Coordinate with local veterinary departments, NABARD-linked FPO clusters, and state dairy federations for program-level adoption.
Build relationships with Panchayats, temple trusts, and Gaushala boards to implement One-Health sustainability programs.
2. Market & Territory Expansion
Conduct on-ground mapping of dairy clusters, milk societies, collection centres, and veterinary supply chains.
Design and execute territory expansion plans including dealer/franchise recruitment, demo drives, and field activation programs.
Achieve defined revenue targets, sales KPIs, and lead conversion benchmarks through direct and institutional channels.
3. Farmer Outreach & Product Demonstration
Plan and conduct field demonstrations, awareness camps, and farmer meetings to showcase Chimertech's technologies.
Collect feedback, testimonials, and impact stories to strengthen brand visibility and farmer trust.
Collaborate with veterinarians and para-vets to integrate Chimertech's diagnostics and preventive care solutions into daily farm workflows.
4. Data, Reporting & Business Intelligence
Maintain detailed CRM records of leads, conversions, and partner interactions.
Submit fortnightly reports with insights on market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and emerging institutional opportunities.
Support management in preparing performance reviews, sales forecasts, and impact dashboards.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work with the production, logistics, and tech teams to ensure timely delivery, deployment, and after-sales support.
Liaise with marketing and digital teams for event materials, campaigns, and regional promotions.
Support franchise partners and distributors with training, product education, and field handholding.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Dairy Technology, Veterinary Science, Rural Management, or allied domains.
MBA/PGDM in Agribusiness, Rural Development, or Marketing preferred.
36 years of experience working directly with FPOs, Dairy Federations, Cooperatives, or Goshalas in a business or program development capacity.
Proven record of executing institutional sales or rural outreach programs in the livestock or agri-input sector.
Understanding of government dairy programs (NDDB, NCDC, NABARD, DAHD, etc.) is a strong advantage.

Strong communication in English and regional languages (Tamil / Hindi / Telugu / Kannada).
Relationship management and stakeholder negotiation skills.
Ability to conduct farmer training, workshops, and on-field demonstrations.
Hands-on knowledge of dairy management practices, animal health products, or IoT/Agri-tech solutions.
Proficient in Excel, CRM tools, WhatsApp Business, and basic digital marketing platforms.
Willingness to travel extensively across rural territories.
