We're hiring a results-driven Sales Manager with 48 years of B2B sales experience to generate revenue by connecting enterprise ecommerce sellers and leading shipping carriers withReachShips API. Your mission: partner with shipping carriers, build strategic associations, and close deals that drive high-volume API adoption for shipping aggregation.
You'll manage the full sales cycle, targeting high-growth ecommerce brands hungry for multi-carrier optimization, automated labels, real-time tracking, and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Pipeline Building
Prospect and acquire enterprise ecommerce sellers through networks, research, and targeted outreach
Build a robust sales pipeline targeting platforms needing multi-carrier shipping APIs (rates, labels, tracking, pickups)
Develop partnerships with shipping carriers to expand ReachShip's aggregator network and carrier integrations
Sales Cycle Ownership
Manage end-to-end sales: demos of API features, negotiations, pricing, and closing enterprise contracts
Present ReachShip's value: real-time rates from 100+ carriers, WooCommerce/Shopify sync, automated labels, bulk operations, and analytics
Prepare competitive proposals highlighting cost optimization, EDD (estimated delivery dates), and fulfillment automation
Client & Partner Relationships
Build long-term relationships with ecommerce decision-makers and carrier partners
Follow up on leads to convert them into API subscriptions and carrier associations
Coordinate with our ops team for smooth onboarding, API integrations, and carrier account setup
Market Mastery
Stay ahead of ecommerce trends, carrier rates, and competitor APIs (e.g., rate shopping, returns management)
Hit sales targets for API usage, subscriptions, and new carrier partnerships
Work autonomously, troubleshooting deals and escalating only critical needs
Experience
48 years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling to enterprise ecommerce (WooCommerce, Shopify, custom platforms)
Proven wins closing deals with ecommerce sellers or shipping/logistics providers
Familiarity with shipping APIs, multi-carrier aggregation, or ecommerce fulfillment tools.
Skills
Deep knowledge of ecommerce shipping challenges: rates, labels, tracking, pickups, LCL/FCL equivalents for parcels
Killer communication, negotiation, and relationship skills for C-suite ecommerce execs
Strong pipeline management, lead gen, and enterprise deal-closing track record
Analytical mindset to demo ROI: cost savings, efficiency gains via API aggregation.
