Budget Analyst

LOOKING FOR 8 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN BUDGETARY CONTROL OR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE WITH GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF CHART OF ACCOUNTS, OUT OF WHICH AT LEAST 3-4 YEARS MUST BE IN A SUPERVISORY/TEAM LEAD ROLE

• Annual CTC range INR 10.50L to 11.50L PA

Responsibilities

1. Work closely with Finance Manager to ensure effective budgetary control throughout the financial cycle. Preparing 360 degree region wise analytical and budgetary reports for periodic review and expenditure control Establishing cross-functional relationship to collect expenditure details and register POs in the system under correct region
2. Preparing variance analysis and investigating reasons for overspend with respective cost centres.
3. Ensuring proposed expenditure requests are within the budget and approved in accordance with the approval matrix.
4. Work closely with IT team for regular monitoring of budgetary control module, including setting up budget templates and data upload, to ensure the effectiveness of system control.
5. Monitoring spending proposals from respective regions and determining the need for optimal funds allocation. Assisting the finance and business team in building annual budget and ensuring data accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications

• At least 8-10 years of experience in budgetary control or accounts payable
• Good knowledge of Chart of Accounts. out of which at least 3-4 years must be in a supervisory/team lead role
• Be able to work on own initiative and communicate with cross-functional team members across the group for timely and accurate reporting
• Proficient in data analytics and keen to bring control efficiencies in the overall business operations-
• Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP applications (ODOO / SAP etc.)
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce from a reputed University
