The Assistant Manager – Sales supports the Sales Manager in driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve targets. This role involves strategizing, executing sales plans, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics; prepare sales reports.
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead.
Handle key client accounts and resolve customer issues efficiently.
Support the recruitment, training, and development of sales staff.
Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a managerial role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
