Role Description The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and brand visibility for Oswin Ply products within the Vishakhapatnam region. This full-time, on-site role involves managing and developing relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, interior designers, contractors, and carpenters. The role includes planning and executing sales strategies, meeting revenue targets, conducting regular market visits, and identifying new business opportunities. The Area Sales Manager will monitor competitor activities, gather market intelligence, and provide feedback to the management team. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating with internal teams for order processing, ensuring timely collections, managing customer queries, and preparing periodic sales reports and forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field sales, preferably in building materials, wood panels, plywood, laminates, or related interior products.
  • Strong relationship management skills with dealers, distributors, architects, interior designers, contractors, and carpenters.
  • Ability to develop and execute territory sales plans, achieve targets, and expand market presence.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Comfortable with regular market travel within the assigned area and working on-site with channel partners.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with reporting and sales tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Strong ethical standards, ability to work independently, and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
