Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Area Sales Manager role based in Muscat. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting G Map's geospatial and land survey solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective and existing clients, understanding their technical and project requirements, preparing and presenting proposals, and negotiating contracts in collaboration with internal technical and commercial teams. The role involves monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and achieve sales targets. The Area Sales Manager will also be expected to maintain accurate sales pipelines and reports, coordinate with project delivery teams for smooth handover, and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally within geospatial, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or related technical services.
  • Strong skills in territory planning, lead generation, and pipeline management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical solutions (e.g., surveying, GIS, mapping, or engineering services) to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term, trust-based client relationships.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines across a defined territory.
  • Comfort with CRM tools and basic productivity software (e.g., MS Office or equivalent) to manage contacts, opportunities, and reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Geomatics, Geography, or a related field.
