Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for driving sales growth for Arham Wealth Management's investment and advisory products within an assigned region. The role includes developing and executing area-wise sales plans, acquiring new clients, and deepening relationships with existing traders, investors, and families. The Area Sales Manager will lead and mentor a local sales team, set performance targets, monitor key metrics, and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance norms. Daily responsibilities include meeting prospective and existing clients, coordinating with product, operations, and research teams, organizing investor awareness or promotional events, and tracking market trends to identify business opportunities. The role also involves preparing regular sales reports, providing feedback from the field, and contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales or business development in financial services, broking, wealth management, banking, or related domains.
  • Strong client acquisition and relationship management capabilities, with a consultative approach to understanding investor needs.
  • Demonstrated skills in area/territory management, target planning, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Sound understanding of equity, derivatives, commodities, mutual funds, insurance, and other investment products, or willingness to quickly build this knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and ethically.
  • Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital platforms for reporting, client engagement, and sales tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., NISM, NCFM) are an advantage.
