The comnpany is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager from the building materials sector to drive market development, strengthen dealer and distributor relationships, and increase brand presence in Warangal, Karimnagar and Khammam.

Job Description
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will identify and pursue new sales opportunities, negotiate deals, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to build relationships with dealers and distributors, and comfort with customer outreach via email, phone, and on-site visits. The ASM will be expected to travel across the assigned districts to meet targets and support channel partners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and assess customer needs.
- Actively generate new business through cold calling, networking, and social media outreach.
- Arrange and conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations.
- Prepare regular sales and financial reports for management review.
- Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure stock availability for sales and demonstrations.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts; address and resolve customer complaints or objections.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet sales targets and execute promotional activities.
- Collect and communicate customer feedback to product and marketing teams.
Requirements And Skills
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager (ASM) or in a similar sales role within the building materials sector.
- Proficiency in English and the local language (Telugu preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) is a plus.
- Good understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques.
- Quick learner with a strong passion for sales.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Confident presenter with the ability to deliver effective product demonstrations.
Education: Graduate (Bachelor's degree preferred)
