Job Description

Job Summary

The Admission Counselor is responsible for handling inquiries, guiding parents through the admission process, and promoting the school's pre-primary programs. The role involves building positive relationships with parents, ensuring smooth admission procedures, and achieving enrollment targets while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle walk-in inquiries, phone calls, emails, and online admission queries from parents.
  • Explain the school's curriculum, facilities, teaching methodology, and admission procedures.
  • Conduct school tours for prospective parents and students.
  • Maintain admission records, applications, and student databases accurately.
  • Follow up with prospective parents regarding admission status and documentation.
  • Coordinate admission tests, interviews, and orientation programs.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities such as events, campaigns, and open houses.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and address their concerns professionally.
  • Prepare admission reports and enrollment updates for management.
  • Ensure a warm, welcoming, and child-friendly environment for visitors.

Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills
  • Customer Service capabilities, ensuring an approachable and helpful demeanor
  • Skills in Sales with the ability to engage prospective families effectively
  • Experience or background in the field of Education
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and familiarity with admission-related software
  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline (Education background preferred)
