Academic Counsellor

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counsellor for a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru. The Academic Counsellor will engage with students to provide guidance on academic and career opportunities, assist with course selection, and address their concerns. Responsibilities include facilitating counseling sessions, understanding student aspirations, offering tailored advice, and maintaining records of interactions while contributing to the institution's goals.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide and support students effectively.
• Proficiency in Academic Advising and Education to provide informed and relevant recommendations.
• Excellent Communication skills, including active listening and the ability to convey information clearly.
• Empathy, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with students.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related area.
• Previous experience in academic or career counseling is an added advantage.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage appointments and records efficiently.
