Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counsellor at SkillYuvam Academy, based in SanjayNagar, Bangalore. The Academic Counsellor will provide guidance and support to students regarding their academic and career goals, help them navigate educational opportunities, and assist in the enrollment process. Responsibilities include conducting academic advising sessions, facilitating career counseling, fostering a supportive learning environment, and delivering accurate information about courses and programs offered at the academy. The role requires proactive engagement with students to address their academic queries, encourage their aspirations, and ensure a positive experience throughout their journey.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, with the ability to guide students toward achieving their education and career goals.
• Proficiency in Communication, including clear verbal and written skills, active listening, and empathetic interaction with students and stakeholders.
• Experience in Academic Advising and understanding of educational processes to help students navigate program requirements and course selections effectively.
• Background in Education or related fields, with a focus on understanding student needs and designing personalized academic plans.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities to manage multiple student relationships and ensure seamless support in a dynamic environment.
