Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer - PHP / WordPress to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in custom WordPress development, strong knowledge of PHP, and the ability to translate project requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project specifications.

Maintain, optimise, and troubleshoot existing WordPress websites.

Build fully responsive layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Integrate REST APIs and work with various third-party services or tools.

Enhance website performance, security, and loading speed.

Write clean, reusable, secure, and well-documented PHP code.

Analyse client requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills & Expertise

Strong working knowledge and expertise of PHP, MySQL, and WordPress (custom themes & plugins).

Hands-on experience with WordPress hooks, filters, CPTs (Custom Post Types), ACF, and WooCommerce.

Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.

Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket version control systems.

Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Good to Have :

- Experience working with Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks.

- Basic knowledge of server management (cPanel, hosting, deployment).

- Understanding of technical SEO best practices.

Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
