Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site VMC Operator role based in Mumbai. The VMC Operator will be responsible for machine setup, operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMC), and monitoring machining processes to ensure quality and precision. Other day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting, basic machine maintenance, interpreting technical drawings, and adhering to safety protocols and production schedules.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) and understanding CNC programming basics.
- Strong ability to interpret and work with technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Experience in troubleshooting, performing basic maintenance, and operating machining tools effectively.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and familiarity with measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet production deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the polymer product manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical or a related field is preferred.
