Title: Service Manager / Service Engineer – BMS (Building Management System)

Job Overview:
The Service Manager – BMS is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of building management systems. This role ensures smooth functioning of all building systems, timely service delivery, and high customer satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management
- Manage and supervise a team of service engineers and technicians
- Set performance objectives and monitor team productivity
- Ensure timely and quality completion of assigned tasks
2. Service Operations
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of BMS systems
- Ensure availability of spare parts and resources for maintenance activities
- Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance and emergency repairs
3. Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients
- Build strong client relationships through proactive service
- Conduct regular client meetings and service reviews
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and contractual commitments
4. Technical Support
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex BMS issues
- Assist clients in system upgrades and integration of new technologies
- Stay updated with latest BMS advancements
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Prepare reports on system performance, service activities, and energy usage
6. Financial & Budget Management
- Monitor service budgets, costs, and resource allocation
- Track invoicing and accounts receivable (AR) collections
- Ensure cost-effective service operations
7. Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for service and process improvement
- Implement best practices to enhance service quality and efficiency
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (HVAC, Fire Alarm, Electrical systems, etc.)
- Team management and leadership skills
