Video Editor

Role Description

We're looking for culture-first Video Editor who understands music, internet trends, and visual storytelling. This role will support artist campaigns, release rollouts, and brand storytelling across digital platforms.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical execution with a sharp understanding of evolving content formats, audience behaviour, and music-driven visual storytelling. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced release environment and delivering high-quality edits within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form music content, including:

- Music videos (performance and narrative cuts)

- Lyric videos and visualizers

- Teasers, trailers, and promotional assets

- Tour, live, and behind-the-scenes content

• Adapt content across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Shorts, etc.)
• Execute rhythm-based editing aligned with musical structure
• Ensure brand consistency across artist campaigns
• Collaborate with marketing, A&R, and artist management teams
• Maintain organized project files and version control
• Deliver assets in required formats within strict deadlines

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional video editing experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and music synchronization
• Experience working on digital-first campaigns
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and quality control

Preferred Skills

• Motion graphics and typography skills
• Knowledge of colour grading workflows
• Familiarity with current music and youth culture trends
