We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor who can transform everyday moments into compelling visual stories. From sizzling social media reels to documentary-style shorts, if you can make food look as good as it tastes (or even better), we would love to hear from you.

Role Overview:

You're a storytelling chef in your own right slicing, mixing, and serving up visuals that make audiences stop scrolling and start drooling.

As our Video Editor, you will work closely with the content, marketing, and design teams to craft snackable, shareable, and visually engaging video content for social media, digital campaigns, and branded storytelling.

In addition to video editing, the role will also support the creative team with basic graphic designing for social media creatives, thumbnails, and digital marketing assets, ensuring visual consistency across brand communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit engaging and high-quality video content for social media platforms (Reels, Shorts), podcasts, and branded campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and marketing leads to execute creative concepts effectively.
  • Enhance visuals using editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or Blender.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables, including tone, typography, transitions, color grading, and pacing.
  • Manage project timelines, revisions, and final deliverables efficiently while maintaining high creative standards.
  • Stay updated with viral formats, editing trends, and evolving visual storytelling techniques, adapting them for Good Seoul's audience.
  • Design supporting graphic assets such as social media creatives, thumbnails, banners, and promotional visuals for digital platforms.

Must-Haves:

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in video editing, preferably within food, lifestyle, or youth-centric content.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or Blender.
  • A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing edited content such as Reels, social media videos, or long-form branded content.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills including rhythm, pacing, transitions, and music synchronization.
  • A keen eye for detail, including typography, transitions, sound design, and visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising creativity or quality.
  • Experience creating content targeted toward Gen Z / Gen Alpha audiences.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.

Brownie Points:

  • Knowledge of color correction and advanced color grading techniques.
  • Prior experience working with food brands, restaurant content, or product-focused video content.
  • Experience designing social media creatives and marketing visuals to complement video content.
