Our client is a fast-growing ecommerce startup seeking talented Video Editors to bring our brand stories to life through engaging and impactful video content. You will play a key role in creating high-quality product videos, ad creatives, social media content, and campaign films that resonate with our audience. The ideal candidate must be creative, detail-oriented, and proficient with industry-standard editing tools, while having excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for product showcases, marketing campaigns, social media, and brand storytelling.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to develop video concepts.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, text overlays, and sound design to enhance video output.
- Adapt raw footage into multiple formats for different platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
- Maintain consistency with brand tone, style, and visual identity.
- Stay updated with latest video trends, editing styles, and platform-specific formats.
- Manage timelines, meet deadlines, and deliver polished video content.
- Ensure technical quality (color correction, audio balance, resolution optimization).
- Organize and manage video assets for easy accessibility and reuse.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Film Editing, Animation, or related field (preferred).
- 24 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in ecommerce/D2C brands.
- Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc. Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and basic visual effects.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Portfolio of past work demonstrating editing skills and creativity.
