Job Title: Vice President – Human Resources (VP HR)

Location: Noida / NCR

Work Mode: 5 Days Working | Onsite

CTC: ₹20 LPA – ₹30 LPA

Experience Required: 7 – 15 Years

Industry Preference: Construction / EPC / Infrastructure / Real Estate / Civil Engineering

Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Vice President – Human Resources to lead the complete Human Resource function for a fast-growing construction business, including corporate office HR, project/site HR operations, industrial relations, labour law compliance, talent acquisition, employee engagement, payroll governance, statutory compliance, performance management, and organizational development.

The ideal candidate must come with strong exposure to Construction / Civil Engineering / EPC workforce management, including handling large blue-collar manpower, contractual labour, engineers, architects, project managers, and vendor workforce.

Key Responsibilities1. Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's growth plans and project expansion roadmap.
  • Partner closely with leadership team, project heads, and business stakeholders to drive people agenda.
  • Build HR policies, SOPs, workforce planning models, and talent retention frameworks.
  • Lead organization restructuring, manpower budgeting, and succession planning.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment for:
    • Civil Engineers
    • Site Engineers
    • Project Managers
    • Architects
    • Procurement Teams
    • QS/Billing Engineers
    • Corporate Functions
    • Blue Collar / Contract Labour Workforce
  • Design mass hiring strategies for project mobilization across multiple sites.
  • Develop recruitment vendor ecosystem and labour supply channels.
  • Ensure TAT adherence and manpower fulfillment as per project deadlines.
  • Labour Law Compliance & Industrial Relations (Mandatory)
  • Ensure strict adherence to all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations relevant to construction industry.
  • Manage:
    • Contract Labour compliance
    • Minimum Wages Act
    • Bonus Act
    • Gratuity Act
    • EPF / ESIC
    • Shops & Establishment
    • BOCW compliance
    • Factory/Project Site labour obligations
  • Liaise with labour departments, government bodies, inspectors, PF/ESIC authorities.
  • Handle labour disputes, union matters, disciplinary actions, grievance redressal, and legal notices.
  • Ensure vendor manpower statutory compliance and audit governance.
  • HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee complete employee onboarding, documentation, induction, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Build HRMS processes and employee data governance.
  • Ensure attendance, leave, payroll inputs, F&F settlement, and personnel record management.
  • Standardize HR operations across HO and all project locations.
  • Performance Management & Organizational Development
  • Design KPI/KRA-based PMS systems for engineering, project delivery, and corporate teams.
  • Drive leadership development, competency mapping, and performance review cycles.
  • Implement training and development initiatives for technical and non-technical workforce.
  • Create employee engagement and retention programs.
  • Compensation, Payroll & Benefits Governance
  • Benchmark salary structures within construction and infrastructure industry.
  • Manage payroll approvals, bonus structures, incentives, site allowances, and labour wage disbursement controls.
  • Monitor compensation cost optimization without affecting productivity.
  • Site HR & Project Workforce Management
  • Ensure smooth HR functioning across multiple active construction sites.
  • Build site HR reporting systems and project manpower dashboards.
  • Coordinate with project directors for labour deployment, contractor workforce, attendance discipline, and grievance handling.
  • Conduct periodic site visits for compliance and employee relations monitoring.
  • Policy Formulation & Compliance Audits
  • Draft and implement HR handbook, disciplinary policies, POSH, whistleblower, travel, leave, attendance, and contractor engagement policies.
  • Conduct periodic statutory and internal HR audits.
  • Ensure zero non-compliance risk in labour inspections and client audits.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements

  • Full-time MBA/PGDM in HR / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations preferred.
  • Must have 7–15 years of core HR experience, with substantial exposure in Construction / EPC / Infrastructure / Civil Engineering companies.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Labour Laws & Industrial Relations is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in handling both white-collar and large blue-collar workforce.
  • Experience in multi-site/project-based employee management.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable with onsite working from Noida/NCR office and project visits.
