Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior HR Generalist with extensive experience in non-IT and construction sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting business objectives through effective people management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and exit processes
- Manage bulk hiring and workforce planning for construction and non-IT roles
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, labor laws, and company policies
- Handle payroll coordination, attendance management, and HR documentation
- Drive performance management processes including appraisals and employee development initiatives
- Address employee grievances and maintain healthy industrial relations
- Implement HR policies and ensure adherence across sites and offices
- Coordinate training and development programs for skill enhancement
- Maintain HR records, MIS reports, and dashboards
- Support audits and inspections related to HR and statutory compliance
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.)
- Experience in construction workforce management and site HR operations
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in HRMS and MS Office tools
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in non-IT industries, preferably construction or infrastructure
- Ability to handle blue-collar workforce and field operations
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach
- High level of integrity and professionalism
