Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled US Finance professional with hands-on experience in handling US market financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial analysis, and business finance, along with experience working with US-based clients or entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support US accounting and finance operations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements as per US GAAP
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
- Perform variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Work on accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL)
- Ensure compliance with US financial regulations and reporting standards
- Collaborate with onshore US stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Assist in audit processes and documentation
- Generate MIS reports and provide actionable financial insights
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance/CA Inter)
- 5+ years of experience in US Finance / US Accounting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience working with US clients or US-based companies
- Proficiency in ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Advanced skills in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Good understanding of financial reporting and compliance
- Excellent communication skills (mandatory for US stakeholder interaction)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Business Finance / FP&A
- Exposure to US Taxation or Audit support
- Certification such as CPA / CMA (US) / CA (Inter/Final) is a plus
