We're looking for a UAV Integration Engineer to manage the integration of avionics, payloads, propulsion, and control systems across UAV platforms.
If you enjoy hands-on system integration, testing, and troubleshooting across VTOL, fixed-wing, and multirotor UAVs, this is a great opportunity to make UAV platforms flight-ready.
Reporting to: Senior Systems Engineer
What You'll Work On
UAV System Integration
- Integrate avionics, sensors, payloads, propulsion, and communication systems into UAV platforms
- Configure and tune flight control systems for optimal UAV performance
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and design teams for seamless hardware-software integration
Testing & Validation
- Conduct system-level testing, verification, and troubleshooting
- Support UAV prototyping and flight testing, including data acquisition and performance analysis
- Identify integration challenges and propose design or workflow improvements
Documentation & Compliance
- Develop and maintain integration plans, wiring diagrams, and interface documentation
- Ensure compliance with UAV safety, regulatory, and industry standards
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in UAV or aerospace systems integration
- Hands-on experience with UAV avionics, sensors, communication systems, and payload integration
- Experience in system testing, flight trials, and troubleshooting complex UAV systems
- Knowledge of UAV software interfaces, autopilots, and flight control tuning
- Familiarity with wiring standards, harness design, and electronics packaging
- Strong documentation and technical reporting skills
- Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams
Preferred / Added Advantage Skills
- Experience with VTOL, fixed-wing, and multirotor UAV platforms
- Familiarity with UAV regulatory standards (FAA, DGCA, EASA) and safety compliance
- Knowledge of digital twin or simulation tools for UAV systems validation
- Expertise in payload integration for ISR, LiDAR, EO/IR, or communication UAVs
- Hands-on experience with telemetry, data acquisition, and mission planning
