Job Description

Tender & Bidding Research Executive

Work form office - Noida Sector 94

Mon - Sat

Exp Required - 2 Years

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor GeM, CPPP, state e-procurement portals, PSU portals, and tender aggregators (BidAssist, Tendersniper) daily for relevant IT tenders.
  • Search and filter tenders aligned to company services — software development, AI/ML, ERP, cloud, cybersecurity, IT staffing.
  • Read and interpret tender documents thoroughly — extract eligibility criteria, turnover thresholds, EMD/PBG requirements, deadlines, and set-aside categories (MSME, Startup India, Make in India).
  • Perform preliminary Bid/No-Bid eligibility checks against company profile before escalating to management.
  • Maintain a structured daily tender tracker (Excel/Sheets) — Tender ID, portal, deadline, EMD, status, remarks.
  • Compile and prepare bid documents — technical bid, financial bid, certificates, affidavits, compliance statements.
  • Coordinate internally for supporting documents — financials, work orders, employee CVs, certifications.
  • Handle end-to-end bid submission on GeM and CPPP portals — document upload, EMD coordination, digital signing, deadline adherence.
  • Attend/track pre-bid meetings, file pre-bid queries, and record corrigenda issued.
  • Track bid opening results, follow up for L1/award status, and log outcomes.
  • Keep all statutory compliance documents current — MSME, GST, PAN, incorporation certificate, financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly reports: pipeline summary, win/loss analysis, upcoming deadlines.
  • Handle portal registrations and empanelments — get the company registered on new procurement portals, vendor databases, PSU vendor panels, and government empanelment schemes as and when required.
  • Available for additional research tasks as assigned — market research, competitor analysis, company profiling, portal/scheme research, or any other business intelligence work.
  • Work directly with and report to the hiring manager — role involves flexible task ownership beyond core tender work; candidate must be adaptable and comfortable taking up varied tasks on short notice.

Must-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of the GeM portal — searching tenders, understanding bid categories, golden/mandatory parameters, RA events, and bid submission process.
  • Strong research ability — ability to independently find and evaluate tenders without being hand-held.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex government tender documents (RFP, NIT, EOI, RFQ).
  • Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets for tracker management and reporting.
  • Good written communication for drafting compliance statements and pre-bid queries.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail — no room for missed deadlines or wrong uploads.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
