Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers from provided lead lists or databases.
  • Explain products or services clearly and persuasively to generate interest and sales.
  • Respond to customer queries, overcome objections, and close sales effectively.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of calls, leads, and sales activities in CRM software.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and improve telesales strategies.
  • Handle customer feedback, provide after-sales support, or escalate issues to relevant departments.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Prior experience in telecalling, telesales, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Persuasive and result-oriented with a customer-first mindset.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Comfortable working under targets and deadlines.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts if required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the industry/product line you'll be selling.
  • Multilingual abilities depending on the target market.
  • Experience in lead generation and sales conversion.
