Job Description
The Technical Writer will support product success by developing clear, concise user documentation and in-product content for our products (Mobile & SaaS). This role involves collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to accurately translate technical concepts into user-friendly materials while continuously developing writing and product knowledge
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and maintaining product documentation, including user manuals, help articles, FAQs, and in-app messaging, under the guidance of senior writers or product leads.
- Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather information about new features and updates to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Participate in reviewing and testing documentation for clarity, consistency, and usability.
- Identify documentation gaps and propose improvements to enhance user experience.
- Contribute to multiple formats of content, including digital, print, and online help resources.
- Support internal teams by providing clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Learn and apply best practices in technical writing and UX copywriting to develop skills.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Technical Writing, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-4 years of experience producing clear, user-focused documentation for software or technology products.
- Ability to quickly learn complex technical concepts and convey them clearly.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Markdown, or similar platforms.
- Collaborative mindset with good communication skills to work effectively across teams.
- Eagerness to learn and grow technical writing capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
