We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating clear and concise technical documentation for software products. You will work closely with engineers and product managers to understand product features and develop user-friendly documentation.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and API documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather information and understand product functionality.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
- Ensure all documentation is consistent with company standards and style guides.
- Review and proofread documentation for accuracy and clarity.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-6 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Microsoft Word.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
