Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Content Writer to join our growing product team. This role is focused on creating high-quality, user-centric content for enterprise software products in the domains of Unified Observability, AIOps, and IT Service Management (ITSM).
As a Technical Content Writer, you will be responsible for crafting product documentation, user guides, knowledge base articles, release notes, and technical marketing collateral. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, QA, and support teams to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability in every piece of content you create.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain detailed user guides, how-to articles, installation manuals, and configuration documentation.
Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand new features and document them clearly.
Write API documentation, integration steps, and interface-level instructions where applicable.
Knowledge Base & Help CenterAuthor and manage knowledge base (KB) articles and self-help content to assist customers with common issues.
Ensure articles are up to date, searchable, and categorized properly for easy discoverability.
Release Notes & Change LogsDraft product release notes, including new features, improvements, bug fixes, and deprecations.
Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Technical Marketing & Enablement ContentAssist in the creation of solution briefs, product feature highlights, use-case guides, and training material.
Support internal teams (sales, support, presales) with concise, accurate technical communication.
Quality & UsabilityEnsure consistency in tone, structure, terminology, and formatting across all product documentation.
Follow content style guides and contribute to improving writing processes and documentation templates.
Required Skills & QualificationsMust-Have24 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the IT, SaaS, or enterprise software domain.
Strong understanding of at least some of the following areas:
IT Infrastructure (Servers, Networks, Virtualization)
Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Monitoring & Observability (logs, metrics, traces)
ITSM workflows and tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and explain them clearly and concisely.
Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Git, Jira, Markdown, HelpDocs, or similar CMS platforms.
Good-to-HaveBasic understanding of REST APIs, YAML/JSON, or scripting basics.
Experience working in Agile or sprint-based development teams.
Exposure to Open Telemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, or IT automation tools.
Visual documentation skills (e.g., flowcharts, diagrams using Lucid chart, Draw.io, etc.).
