Hiring Techno-Commercial Engineer- Solar Solutions I Delhi

Role:

As a Techno-Commercial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the technical and commercial aspects of our solar EPC projects. You will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, conducting technical feasibility assessments, and developing commercial proposals that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring profitability for the company.

Responsibilities:

Technical Evaluation:

  • Assess project requirements and technical specifications to determine feasibility and suitability for solar EPC projects.
  • Conduct site assessments, including solar resource analysis, shading analysis, and electrical infrastructure evaluation, to inform project design and implementation.

Commercial Proposal Development:

  • Prepare detailed commercial proposals and quotations for solar EPC projects, incorporating technical specifications, pricing, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements and maximize project profitability.

Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

  • Analyse project costs, including equipment, labour, and other expenses, to develop accurate cost estimates and budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering to improve project economics without compromising quality or performance.

Contract Negotiation and Management:

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favourable terms and conditions for project execution.
  • Review and analyse contract documents to identify risks, liabilities, and obligations, and propose appropriate mitigation measures.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and post-sales phases, addressing inquiries, providing technical support, and resolving issues as needed.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in the solar energy industry.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify market opportunities and positioning strategies for the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a techno-commercial role, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, including design principles, components, and installation practices.
  • Proven experience in preparing commercial proposals, cost estimates, and project budgets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.
