Job Title: Engineering Recruiter (US and Canada)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Engineering Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of hiring top talent in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and core engineering domains. You will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, working closely with clients/hiring managers to identify skilled professionals across multiple engineering verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients or internal hiring teams to understand detailed technical requirements and project needs
- Source, identify, and engage candidates through job portals, engineering networks, referrals, and headhunting
- Screen candidates for technical fit, domain experience, and cultural alignment
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and onboarding
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for high-demand engineering roles (design engineers, FEA analysts, CAD/CAE experts, project engineers, etc.)
- Keep updated with current hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and skill demands in core engineering sectors
- Use ATS and CRM tools to track candidates and ensure a smooth hiring workflow
- Collaborate with account managers or business development teams to support client needs with timely closures
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HR, or related field
- 2–6 years of experience in engineering recruitment, preferably in automotive, aerospace, heavy machinery, or manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of engineering functions and terminology (CAD tools, PLM systems, quality/process engineering, etc.)
- Excellent sourcing skills using job boards, LinkedIn, Boolean search, and offline channels
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience hiring for OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or engineering services companies
- Exposure to global hiring (US/Europe/Middle East preferred)
- Familiarity with engineering compliance and certifications (ISO, AS9100, IATF 16949, etc.)
