We're building a lean, high-ownership team and are looking for a
Talent Acquisition Specialist who can help us hire exceptional people across product, engineering, compliance, operations, business and marketing roles.
Role Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Dodo Payments, you will
own the end-to-end hiring process for multiple roles across teams. This is a hands-on role where you will partner closely with founders and hiring managers to attract, assess, and close high-quality candidates in a fast-moving startup environment.
You will play a critical role in shaping our hiring strategy, employer brand, and candidate experience as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for multiple roles across engineering, product, compliance, operations, and business teams from role kick-off to offer closure
- Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and drive hiring priorities
- Proactively source and build strong talent pipelines using LinkedIn, referrals, job portals, communities, and direct outreach
- Manage candidate communication and experience across all stages, ensuring timely updates, transparency, and a high-quality hiring journey
- Coordinate and manage interview processes, including scheduling, interviewer alignment, structured feedback, and hiring decisions
- Maintain accurate hiring data and trackers to ensure visibility into pipeline health and hiring progress
- Support offer creation, negotiations, and joining formalities, working closely with founders and candidates
- Contribute to employer branding and hiring initiatives, including hiring posts, referral drives, and talent campaigns
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
35 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment (startup or high-growth company preferred)
- Proven experience hiring for tech and non-tech roles
- Strong sourcing skills and hands-on experience with LinkedIn and job platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple roles simultaneously
Good to Have
- Experience hiring for SaaS, fintech, AI, or B2B startups
- Experience working closely with founders or leadership teams
- Familiarity with ATS tools and recruitment analytics
- Experience in early-stage or scaling startups
